I'M READY FOR MY CLOSE-UP

Thanks to my very fabulous friend Evan (professional photographer extraordinaire!) I am seeing my superstar possibilities. Actress? Model? In Buenos Aires they do often tell me that I am re linda (really beautiful). I Just may have what it takes....

I can look thoughtful....

I can pout better than the best of models....

I'd be really good at heart-wrenching goodbye scenes...

(don't I look like I already miss you?)

I can look hopeful...

I can act stubborn...

I know how to pose... and I even look good in pink!

I have perfected close profile shot...
Even the full body profile...

I'd be great in a jungle scene...

Or just hanging out on a street...

I am super athletic!

And always ready to catch...

I have a great sense of humor...

I can play super wispy, if needed (but only if needed, as I prefer to project girl power!)

Though I may occasionally get up on the bed with a bag of treats while the crew is busy adjusting the shot, you should hire me anyway. Really.

Top three reasons why?
1. I'm a people person!
2. I learn new tricks super fast.
3. Unlike so many models, I'll--gladly, gratefully, happily, exuberantly--eat what ever you give me!

Oh yes, and (obviously) because
4. I'm a Rhodesian Ridgeback--totally unique in all the world! Need to see more? Just check out my older posts. Especially Christmas at the Beach--I am perfect for a beach shoot!

What Ever a Cat Can Do... I Can Do Better...

It's true... this week I learned how to climb trees! This is what makes me such a good lion hunter... I can go anywhere they can go.  And when I see a tree I like...

Back In Buenos Aires...

Back home, I took it easy for a few days...
I slept in my favorite spot...

Stretched out on the terrace and watched the birds...
Went to the park and played ball...

...and king of the mountain...
I am too cool!

It's a New Year!

We rang in the new year in the "el campo" (the country) with friends.

Where I saw the biggest dogs I have ever seen! Strangely, it seems they are all named "Horse" or "come here boy."

After discovering that it is not a good idea to walk up behind these dogs...
I just tried to blend in, from the side... I think I did pretty well:

Christmas at The Beach...

I spent Christmas at the beach....

Where I lost something that I then tried to find (I don't really remember what it was)....

But I knew it was there somewhere...
I spent a lot of time chasing Seagulls....
And met a strange creature called a crab....
I learned how to play Frisbee...
and silly beach games...
After a long day, I looked out at the sea and considered my place in the vast universe...
But such questions are exhausting... I soon fell asleep, covered in sand...
Back at the house I spent time surfing the internet with Dani. I kept my promise to not get "up" on the bed--see my back feet! Ah, there are loop holes to all rules...

Later I took my siesta in the shaded part of the yard...
The next day, I was back on the beach again, looking for my next adventures....

I'M BACK

It's true, I'm a bad blogger.... but I am a really, really good dog. I have grown up a lot in the last months... and spent a lot of time playing with friends... Here are some of my latest photos...

Me, back in July.... at a restaurant.

Me and my friends, in September-November...

MUST I GO ON STRIKE???

Okay, I have a serious situation. One of my humans has left the country. Do I go on strike? Refuse to learn any new tricks? Refuse to remain house trained? Wake the remaining human each hour throughout the night?  Eat shoes?  Cry?  Tear apart the house?  Please advise....
Missing the one who lets me get-away-with-everything!
