It's true... this week I learned how to climb trees! This is what makes me such a good lion hunter... I can go anywhere they can go. And when I see a tree I like...
Yes, Zukka had puppies on June 4th, 2011. All were super healthy, lovely, purebred Ridgebacks, with a fabulous (international champion) Dad named Din. And at 4 weeks, they were already paper trained! (Ohhh... these pups are smart!) All have gone to their new homes... but we still get to visit with them sometimes!

The 7 Habits of Highly Satisfied Creatures...
Yes, it's true! I've decided to write my own spiritual guide to the universe. I'll call it The 7 Habits of Highly Satisfied Creatures, by Zukka. It's based on 7 great truths I’ve learned so far: 1. Don't just smell the roses, smell the garbage, the fire hydrants and the dirty socks too! Many of the greatest things in life are in disguise! 2. If you want it, go after it! This applies to everything—a great job, a cat, a mailman. (Don't worry! The cat and the mailman are fine... no, really, they are.) 3. Feeling underappreciated? Spend an afternoon alone—If you don't leave the house, you’ll never get a wildly excited hello on your return. 4. Selective listening is a must! Know which things to simply ignore. For instance, pay attention when you hear "treat" or "food" or questions like, "want to go for a walk?" Deliberately (and nearly always) ignore words and phrases like "no" and "off the couch" and (especially), "off the bed". Who needs that kind of negativity? 5. Take naps. (The best naps are taken with a creature you love!) 6. Enjoy your body! Eat with exuberance, run with abandon, and stretch as often as you can-and please! Wag your tail! 7. Be Loyal. Loyalty has won my kind the title of "man's best friend." What could be more satisfying that being a truly great friend?
